Right of withdrawal

The withdrawal period allows consumers 14 days to change their mind after a purchase made online, by phone or at a distance.

Please note: the right of withdrawal does not apply to all distance purchases (legally referred to as "contracts", specified in Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). Details of purchases not covered by the right of withdrawal are available on the economie.gouv.fr website.

"Bloctel" do-not-call register

Bloctel is a free French service allowing consumers to register their phone number (or that of their spouse or children) to opt out of telephone marketing calls.

Decree n° 2022-1313 of 13 October 2022 provides that, from 1 March 2023, telephone marketing to consumers in France is permitted only Monday to Friday, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 8pm. It is prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

This framework applies both to people not registered on the Bloctel opt-out list and to those registered but contacted under an ongoing contract.
